Ned Yost and EyadBaseball is back in Kansas City, and we here at eggtc. couldn’t be more excited! The whole city has anxiously awaited the return of Royals baseball this spring (with fond memories of taking back the crown to KC with victory in the World Series last year!). Without question, there is no shortage of Royals baseball spirit here at eggtc. either!

eggtc. has been lucky enough to see more than few people associated with the Royals organization visit eggtc. throughout the last few baseball seasons. We’re always glad to serve Royals skipper Ned Yost when he stops in for breakfast (pictured here with eggtc. GM Eyad Malah).

Former Royals player Billy Butler also made eggtc. a regular stop over the years (not sure if we had anything to do with his nickname “Country Breakfast” – but he was kind enough to autograph a home run photo we had displayed and inscribe it with the kind words, “Best Breakfast in Kansas City!).

eggtc. is true blue through and through. In fact, even your morning coffee is bound to have a little extra Royals spirit if you’re lucky enough to have our barista, Katelyn (at the South Plaza store) handle your pour. You see, she’s a wiz when it comes to coffee art; just check out the cup-art photos below featuring the Royals (and the numbers of various players who’ve stopped by for a visit).

billyautograph (2)Our advice? Fuel up at eggtc. before your next next visit to the K. You never know jsut who you might run into and, regardless, you’ll certainly be pumped and primed to cheer on our hometown boys in blue! Just take it from Billy Butler. If Billy call eggtc. the “best breakfast in town” who are we to argue?!

In fact, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
